2. General Information on Data Processing
As a matter of principle, we only process our users’ personal data to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. Personal data is generally processed only with the user’s consent or on the basis of a statutory permission pursuant to Art. 6(1) GDPR.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). In doing so, Cloudflare automatically processes connection data such as the IP address of the accessing device, the date and time of access, the pages visited, and browser and operating system information. This data is processed to provide, secure and stabilise the website and is generally deleted automatically after a short period.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional provision of our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the standard contractual clauses provided by Cloudflare.
4. Fonts
This website uses web fonts (Cormorant Garamond, Inter) that are hosted locally on our own server. As a result, no connection to Google servers or other font providers is established when the website is accessed, and no data is transferred to third parties.
5. Contact Form (HubSpot)
On our contact page we use the form tool provided by HubSpot, Inc., 2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA (for EU users processed via HubSpot’s EU infrastructure, region “eu1”). When you fill in and submit the form, the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, enquiry content) is transmitted to HubSpot and processed there so that we can handle your enquiry.
When the form loads, HubSpot sets a technically necessary cookie (including hubspotutk) in order to reliably attribute form submissions and detect spam submissions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves to prepare or perform a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in effective enquiry handling. Further information can be found in HubSpot’s privacy policy at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
6. Cookies
Apart from the technically necessary cookie of the contact form (see section 5), this website does not use any cookies for analytics or marketing purposes. Should this change, we will inform you here and, where required, obtain your consent.
7. Contact by Phone or Email
If you contact us by email or phone, the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, enquiry content) is stored and processed by us in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves to prepare or perform a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

To exercise these rights, you can contact us at any time using the contact details provided above.
9. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. The authority generally responsible is that of the federal state in which our company is based, the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht).
10. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption to transmit confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser and by the address bar beginning with “https://”.
